Longer sentences needed for drug importers

(RE: Tragic resolution to missing person case raises broader issue, Nov. 24)

Richard Romain Toronto

This young man is the face of addiction that ultimately led to his death. That could be your son, nephew, grandson or neighbour. The illicit drugs flooding the streets of Timmins are killing our residents. Many of these drugs are transported from southern Ontario to the North where they are sold. We need strong long term penitentiary sentences for these pushers and long term treatment centers for those addicted. Every life lost is one too many. Please assist our police in apprehending these individuals. If you see or know something call them or crime stoppers and report it. ( former Timmins resident)
